Full “Hunter’s” Moon in Aries

If there is a month that feels synonymous with a full moon, it is that of October. It is this month that we welcome the Full Moon in Aries, also known as the Hunter’s Moon, taking place on October 17 at 7:26am EST as the largest supermoon of the year.
Aries, the cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars, is the initiator of the zodiac year. It symbolizes courage, confidence and passion, and reminds us that we are capable of empowering ourselves in this world with a determined energy. It is an invitation to be bold, to face our fears and to confront the shadow parts of ourselves that often remain unseen.
It is an invitation to do as hunters do when they step out into the darkness of the wild, unsure of what lies beyond the shadows, while also knowing that they must face the unknown in order to gather resources, prepare for the season ahead and secure their survival.
