Full “Wolf” Moon in Leo

Strength, courage and creative confidence.

In the dead of winter, when all is quiet and the harsh weather has blanketed the land, there is an animal that moves steadily over the frozen terrain, searching for its prey and calling out to others to join in the adventurous hunt: the wolf.

A symbol of wildness, power, loyalty, guardianship and courage, many associate the wolf with a supernatural instinct and intuition. The eyes of a wolf are determined and focused with a keen sense of knowing that keeps them and their pack alive and out of harm's way. Their thick fur is the same color as the shadows of winter, illuminating the depths of the knowledge they possess as wise old souls. Their howls used as a social rallying call and territorial expression, unique to each yet understood by all.

Their counterpart in the harsh heat and dry conditions? The Lion.

The King of the Jungle… and king of beasts. Their strength unmatched by many, their nobility reigning supreme, and their loyalty and protection fiercely woven into their being.

Leo, the zodiac sign represented by the lion, encourages us to stand tall and confident. To lead with strength and courage that is fueled by the creative fire in our hearts… and knowing that we do so with others in mind. To show us what it’s like to let go of our own fears or uncertainties for the sake of what it could mean for others. 

Two animals living in opposite natural environments… and yet so symbolically intertwined under this full moon.
