Beginnings
An Introduction to Nature’s Notes.
I’ve always felt called to share my thoughts. A communicator at heart coupled with a constant desire to live in awe and learn from the world around me. In more recent years it’s become evident that the seeking and curiosity I find myself in daily is nestled in the depths of the natural world.
Like many, the past few years have given way to a reflection on life. They’ve provided an opportunity to think deeply about the things that consume our lives and in doing so, have created a chance to embrace what feels true to ourselves individually.
For me, this reflection made way for career changes, relationship changes and interpersonal changes, too. It meant taking time to slow down and think about all I had been taught and to one-by-one think about what was actually true for myself. What were my values? What were my dreams? How was I showing up in my life? Who was getting my time? How was my time being spent? What did it all mean? What did I want it to all mean?
While the questions varied, the space where the creative processing took place and the space where the answers came was always the same: the natural world.
More than just “the outdoors”, the natural world was the cycles of life, the seasons of change, the connection in us all… the energy within me and the vastness of the universe around me. It was everything, and it was the space in which the parallels of life became easier to understand.
What I share here is reflection on life and the human existence as a whole. It’s a practice of continually seeking to understand. To evolve and to grow. To find acceptance in myself. A space for creativity. A space to think and a space to slow down in our modern world.
Thank you for being here.
